There has been a late change to the start of the route, which now takes us through the impressive Cardamon Hills. Gulbarga has also been replaced by a stop at Hyderabad close by.

We conclude the rally at  the home and observatory of George Everest, whose expedition with William Lampton mapped India in the early 19th century.
